Membership
Jacksonville Jazz Society Inc. (JJS) is a volunteer organization of jazz enthusiasts, which includes professional jazz musicians, jazz scholars, jazz media professionals, jazz club and performance site owners and managers. The core of JJS is composed of non-professionals who love jazz and are dedicated to “Keeping Jazz Alive” in Jacksonville.
As a member of JJS, you will have both a voice and a vote, which may positively affect policies and all upcoming group projects and events. Members are highly encouraged to participate in JJS sponsored events. Meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month at 11:30am at NAS (Naval Air Station) JAX, Roosevelt Blvd and Yorktown Ave, Jacksonville FL 32212. The meeting is open to members, guests, family members and friends.
Join the Jacksonville Jazz Society (JJS) today. Through the support of its membership, JJS provides educational outreach opportunities to local students, supports the next generation of musicians through college scholarship awards, charity fundraisers, concerts, and other social events.
Members shared benefits include: expanded knowledge of jazz and it’s history, meet like minded people that love jazz, create new friendships that become life long friendships.
The membership application is below. Please fill out the form and email it back to us at jacksonvillejazzsociety@gmail.com. You can pay for your (1) year membership securely online below (via Cash App or PayPal), or write a check and mail it to us. Membership dues are annually on Jan 1.
